The studio is based on the independent intellectual development of design through the Star Status philosophy, Open Sphere design strategy and Authentic Design Essence. It integrates interdisciplinary avant-garde value components through independent design and education in terms of inclusion, sustainability, aesthetics and quality of experience beyond functionality, and specializes in design designed for the new lifestyle of the evolving post-postmodern, post-pandemic generation. The studio is open to international and interdisciplinary connections, guaranteeing progress towards the expected criteria for design solutions. This goal supports the use of "Action Centric" tools of independent artistic research and synergistic development.
After completing a profile subject of studio creation with a focus on product and industrial design in Baláž studios, the student, thanks to developing the ability to analyze and understand context, experience of working with matter and space and using a wide range of creative design strategies through physical and digital technologies, implements and applies independent artistic research, defines and creates an original visual language, develops new methods of creation and communication and is able to initiate and support the development of new technologies, technological processes and interdisciplinary synergies.
The semester, bachelor's and master's thesis specializes in defining the interest of a new society, affected by ecological and pandemic crisis, leading to a new lifestyle, design morphing lifestyle, based on authentic motivation in social action in favor of sustainability, offering education and support, inspired by design to a way of life in which everyone in all spheres of life can contribute to sustainable development. The interaction of company design, creating a unique visual language and harmonizing design and engineering into a new whole, is a basic compositional element of design and the basis of the process of origin and change, the basis of perception, which interacts with thinking to reach knowledge.
