The Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava ceremoniously awarded the Dean's Award, which is presented annually to students for outstanding achievements in the fields of architecture, urbanism, and design. This year's laureate is Bc. Kristína Rózsová, who received the award for the second time. Her studio project Do Not Demolish, Transform! The Building of the Geodesy and Cartography of Slovakia, supervised by guest professor Ing. arch. Pavel Paňák, impressed the expert jury composed of members of the Slovak Chamber of Architects not only with its high professional standard but also with its sensitive approach to the topic and innovative solutions to current challenges in architectural design.
The award ceremony took place on Thursday, June 19, 2025, during the summer Night of Architecture and Design, where the new study program Urbanism was also officially presented. This program will be launched in the academic year 2026/27 in cooperation with the University of Economics in Bratislava (EUBA) as part of the STU-EUBA University Consortium.
