On June 19, 2025, the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Slovak University of Technology (FAD STU) hosted the popular event Night of Architecture and Design, a traditional gathering that brings together both professionals and the general public with the world of architecture, urban planning, and design. This year's edition offered a rich program full of inspiration, presentations, discussions, exhibitions, and interactive installations. Visitors had a unique opportunity to explore the faculty premises, where students and faculty members showcased their work and projects developed during the recent summer semester of the 2024/25 academic year. The event featured studio tours, exhibitions of diploma and semester projects, discussions with guests, and lectures by international figures.
The Night of Architecture and Design also provided an informal platform for students, alumni, professionals, and prospective applicants to connect. This year’s program focused in particular on the launch of the new Urbanism study program, starting in the 2026/27 academic year in cooperation with the University of Economics in Bratislava (EUBA), within the STU-EUBA University Consortium. Graduates of this program will find opportunities in the field of spatial planning, public space development, and various functional roles in public administration, while also being fully prepared for a creative career in architecture.
